Emergency Grocery list
2 weeks extra groceries: amount of food = (# of people in family x 3 meals/day x 14 days) + (snacks x 14 days)Either pre-packaged emergency food or extra canned/non-perishables.
Example: Breakfast = 1 pkg oatmeal
Lunch/supper = 1 cup rice + 1 source of protein + 1 can veggies (1/2 that for a kid), and snacks Family of 4: 56 pkg oatmeal (7 boxes of 8 pkg), 42 cups rice(2 bags 10lbs), 42 cans beans/meat , 42 cans veggies, 14 family bags chips, 14 family box cookies.
Gloves for cleaning up after sick people if you aren’t sick.
Tylenol or other fever/pain reducers for all ages in your family.
